“91 points and 5 drops. This is the kind of medium-bodied wine that is best served at the dinner table – alongside food. Beautiful texture. Enough flavour. Good length and excellent balance. You can’t help but enjoy drinking this. It tastes of dried herbs, sweet blackcurrant and a little dark chocolate. It’s juicy and grippy and, simply, an excellent example of the cabernet-merlot blend. Drink 2010 - 2013.”

“This is part of the increasing and emerging Robert Oatley stable of very good value for money wines. Opulent generous wine with heaps of appeal and style. Rich sweet fruit with a pleasant overlay of oak.”

“In my mind the best of the affordable Rosemount wines always used to be the Diamond label cabernet, and lo and behold my favourite of the Wild Oats range is the cabernet blend too. This is blackberried, minty, has an attractive line of ripe, fine tannin and has an olivey, dusty sense to it that screams (in a good way) varietal character. This is the pick of the range - I'd be more than happy hooking into this. This one is made from grapes grown in the Mudgee and Margaret River wine regions.” 88 points
